Debacle Records had their annual Debacle fest this past August. They were kind enough to commission me to create the branding for the whole thing as well as a redesign of their logo.
I really wanted to create something that would not be geared to one particular genre of music and display the diversity of the label.

that time has rolled around again, Wolves In The Throne Room recently completed their US tour; in support of their newest record Celestial Lineage; and are currently starting the European leg of it. Below is the tour poster design we worked out for both tours. The band should have a handful of these left, as well as prints from the tour poster series I helped curate and printed.
Long Distance calling recently commissioned me to design a poster and 2 shirt design for their upcoming tour...

112 Printworks shows David D'Andrea:
Aug 5, 6–10pm
Plus a performance by Tiny Vipers!
Illustrator David D’Andrea’s work is iconic, dark, intricate, and beautiful. His illustrations seethe with sinuous, accomplished line work and intentional rough edges. He draws from a variety of themes – the shelves of his small studio are crammed with dusty books: almanacs, type specimens, crumbling encyclopedias, and other esoteric visual references, all looking as if they had been rescued from a medieval basement. The eclectic influences show in the work: archaic lettering, obsessively detailed renderings of animals, and elements from numerous religions and cultures.
Join us August 5 from 6 - 9 pm. We'll be showing a retrospective of D'Andrea's work, plus a brand new 11-color exclusive print only for sale at 112 Printworks! Tiny Vipers plays at 9 pm, adult refreshments served all evening.

Been a little behind on doing updates on here. On top of the normal design/print work I'm usually consumed with I recently moved my shop and opened a retail store in the Fremont neighborhood with Rick G/Seattle Show Posters. We had our grand opening a few weeks back.

(Photos by Portable Victoria) you can view more shots from the opening here.

Thanks to everyone that came out!
We will be stocking posters, art prints, t-shirts and tons of other handmade goods. As well as a rotating artist gallery that will feature a new artist every month and an exclusive art print from each artist.
Our next opening is June 17th, featuring the art of Steve Roumas along with an on-site letterpress demo with Kyle Durie and her Moveable Type traveling letterpress van. As always there will be beer, live music and more that night.

To celebrate our move to our new neighborhood I will be printing some of these 'center of the universe' prints I designed this week.

I realized I spend 90% of my time printing work for other people and I never post any of it here, nor do I poster a lot of the final printed pieces I design. So, I thought I'd post a bunch of the work I've printed lately. Things have been super busy and seem to be showing no sign of slowing down. I'm always available for custom printing. Feel free to email me for pricing...
