I'll be posting more designs from each series in the next few days. In the meantime in an attempt to clear space and keep things moving I've decided to offer a bit of a deal through the Broken Press webstore for the ISIS and Wolves In The Throne Room posters. Anyone that orders 2 posters (from either or both series) will get a 3rd poster of their choosing (from any of the posters on the webstore that are under $30) for free. sound good? I'm throwing in random test prints with larger orders as well...***anyone that's already ordered will also recieve an extra print.http://www.brokenpressdesign.bigcartel.com

I will keep posting images as I receive them from the artists. Thank you to everyone who has worked with me and been involved with this project. I'm very happy with the final artist list.
All the posters will be available through each artist after their respective shows. I will also be selling copies of some of the posters as well.
more soon...

Tons of stuff happening right now. I just received my copies of the Wolves In The Throne Room European tour poster I designed for their tour last January-February. I only have a very limited amount of copies. You can buy them here

the Shining Ones "Motions in Light" live Cd-r is now available through Dead Accents. They are handscreened and limited to 100 copies. It contains a live set from the Rendezvous Jewel Box Theater.

Some of my work is also being featured in a group show of Seattle poster artists at Society Co. in Ballard. The show opens April 30th at 8pm. There will be a blog up soon with information about the opening and corresponding zine curated by C.M. Ruiz.

Lastly, I'm organizing two different poster series for ISIS and Wolves In The Throne Room for their respective upcoming U.S. tours. I will post the full listing of artists and cities once everything is finalized. I'm really excited about both series, there are some really great artists involved. Thank you to everyone who has helped me so far in pulling these together.

As of Wednesday morning my cat Rigby has had a bloodclot blocking bloodflow to his hind legs, thus paralyzing the rear half of his body. Danie and I have been up since then bringing him to the vet everyday, syringe feeding him food and administering medicine every couple hours. But this is all becoming very costly. To help offset things even a little bit I've decided to put almost everything in my webstore on sale. Most all show posters are down to $10. If he makes it through the next couple days he stands a strong chance of living a full healthy life. Don't be surprised to find extra posters and test prints in most orders....Thanks!

Shining Ones show next Friday

Below are some previews of a few upcoming Dead Accents releases. I will be handling the art direction for these and a bunch more releases in the coming year.
Dead Accents is run by Demian of Hemingway, he has been quietly putting out (very) limited edition cd-r's and cassettes for the past year or so, everything thus far has had exceptional handmade packaging. I'm going to be working with him to step things up a bit and start doing larger edition sizes and hopefully a lot more releases.

Triumph Of Lethargy Skinned Alive To Death / Hemingway split Cassette
*This will be a Broken Press release. This was supposed to come out forever ago but we've finally managed to get everything together and it should hopefully be out very soon.

One of Seattle's local newspaper's, The Stranger has been kind enough to select my Kinski poster as poster of the week. Thanks!

from thestranger.com:

Poster of the Week

Andrew Crawshaw strays a bit from his trademark distressed- calligraphy/death-metal look in this mesmerizing poster for Kinski. It sort of reminds me of the downtown library. Which I like.

So thanks to Seattle's inability to handle snow without freaking out my new band's (Shining Ones) first show was cancelled. Which is not the greatest start for a project. So our would be second show (which will now be our first show) should hopefully occur Saturday January 10th @ the Rendezvous, pending no natural disaster's or extreme weather decide to take over Seattle that day too. This will be a one off show for Salt Lake City's mighty Eagle Twin. We also got asked to play an awesome show at the end of January that we're pretty excited about...

I've been working at a new musical endeavor with Dan from Lesbian. We're going to be playing our first show this Thursday at the Rendezvous in Seattle along with Hemingway, This Blinding Light(feat. mem. of Hypatia Lake) and Sparkle Girl. It should be an awesome show.
